They tried EVERYTHING and no one caredWhy, she’s talented and was invested in heavily by her label and didn’t pop off
it happens
I would feel bad if she never got a push

She got 3 albumsThey didn't really invest in her that heavy.
"2 On" popped off and was a huge hit, but she barely got a 2nd video on that album.
She was beautiful, had a dope single, previous acting exposure....they dropped the ball on her by not investing more in her.
She got multiple releases despite bombing harder and harder each time out. Go look at comments about her on other boards and social media - the fans she did have she alienated with a million different sounds and no one else gave AF about her. They didn't really invest in her that heavy.

You can’t make fans like an artist

Look at Doja - the exact opposite, label wasn’t promoting her but she stayed on the socials building up her fanbase and people fukked with her - she been dropping music since 2014 but didn’t really start blowing until 18/19. You’re not entitled to success, people either mess with you or they don’t.
None of this has anything to do with people not feeling her. People know where to get music, and artists whose careers were deadass in the middle of the pirating/iTunes download era - keyshia cole for example - found fans, were able to chart singles, and have a successful career. Moving from pirating and digital sales to streaming (2014/15/16), plus the rise of social media, was a positive for the way artists songs charted, gained momentum, etc so not sure how you’re using that as defense for her.Tinashe had some mixtapes but then the label scooped her up.
But she have been lowkey signed when the mixtapes dropped.
Her album came out when the industry was really switching from buying albums on iTunes or Google Play etc, vs streaming
I don't really feel this album
Songs for You was much better to me
its a twist, but she's such a refreshing twist on the scene that you just accept it as an addition to the catalog.Tinashe had some mixtapes but then the label scooped her up.

at least she's actually putting out music SHE wants instead of begging like Normani. She got multiple releases despite bombing harder and harder each time out. Waiting on them nudes / tapes like everyone else
Doja cat is dominating on RCAYes, but they didn't push her FIRST album. Granted, it was super great or anything, but I've seen artists with less talent pushed harder.
RCA is just a crappy label
