Bet was one of the best songs on her album and she gives it this boring video that has nothing to do with the song. lol at end of an era, I guess she's done with this album and is on to the next one. I hope that she'll have hit songs, better videos, and better choreo. If she doesn't, then I don't see many people paying attention to her much longer.
She had an album and a mixtape, and only had one hit song (2on). Idk who told her to make pretend a single, she should have chosed Bet or Bated breath.
She is trying to put out her 2nd album before this year is out, but she shouldn't, especially if it's going to sound similar to the first. I think she should wait a while and work with more, different people. Maybe Timb (he's been working with Zendaya, but Zendaya will not make it, especially because she's still with disney and looks like a litte girl. I've heard her song and it wasn't good) and try to get a hit, or else she'll fade away and won't be paid much attention to (except for in blogs and mags that her people pay for) until the full version of On a Wave comes out. She'll get a lot of recognition if Drake makes that a single. I like that song. She'd get even more attention if they're pretending to be a couple in the music video for it. That would be great for her. Maybe after that is when she should release her 2nd album, after that and another hit song.
She needs to get her sht together, I kind of want her to win, mostly because she's an Aquarius. I don't like her music that much only a couple of songs, but I really would like to see more new brown people (women) doing well in the music industry.

She kinda has to strike whille the iron is hot(semi-hot in her case)....she's viewed as a pop artist more than anything and that fan attraction changes quickly, especially since like u said, "2 On" was her only true hit. Pop fans don't check for 1-hit artist for long.
I think she can do both, but if ur gonna go the "cold sweat"/"bet" route, the songs need to be a little better.
If she's gonna do the "alt-R&B" indy vibe, she needs to get different producers. Ones that know how to produce vocals and get her vocal range in the right place and out of the whisper.
I still wanna know what happened with the collab with Sade's producer. Maybe they saved that for this new album.

Ehh...video is wack as fukk being that that's my favorite song on the album. The visuals that song gave me was no where near her dancing in a tunnel solo for an entire 4 minutes.
Anyway, why she ain't called in that chris Brown stimulus? Those two light skinted dancing ass nikkas on an upbeat party track would be a good look.
