That single she released with A$ap was one of the most underwhelming follow up singles ever and is what prevented her from being a main pop staple. For a pop girl, you don't need to go through years or touring and grinding in order to get fans. All you need is a hit debut single with a second hit single to prove to people that you arent a fluke. if she would have had that second hit single, all the top pop producers and song writers would have been rushing to works and push her.
I'm sure her career as a single is going just fine but I'm talking about being a household name
