This taking me back to Keyshia Coles vibe cover looking like a angry woman ready to punish you for coming home from the club late....,Myas king magazine cover with the azz poked out with the baby hair strong enough to stop a nation
Hold up,aint Rhianna all over the damn place musically? One day she doin trap songs, then songs with Paul Mcartney, soulless cac ballets, rnb songs....Lets be honest, that crazy bytch Rhianna is just more likeable for young females than Tinashe
....But part of that is that Rhianna got hot by targeting black women first and foremost....That really should be the only demographic a black woman would aim for....As a black woman them crackas aint really fukking with you until you get a strong cosign from us....Then you can decide to crossover and sellout like Rhianna
,i cant say I've ever seen it done any other way by black WOMEN...not men either really.
Not to mention Tinashe is too lightskin, sknny, attractive+from the suburbs, she gon have to really bring herself down a notch...First thing alotta women gon see is a bougie bytch when they see her interviews, and hear the lack of soul and pain in her music...A talented writer if they still exist can make her more believable in the music which is most important..All it will take is one black woman scorned yet finding her strength anthem and she's back in the game.
But yeah, her team makes bad decisions,or just want to "expand the brand" past nikkas as soon as possible, good luck with that, hasnt worked for a black woman I can recall
Less make up,more clothes, more black pain![]()
Well the thing with Rihanna is that her SIGNATURE WORK with Good Girl Gone Bad established her image/sound as a "RnB Singer with EDGE" and created a loyal fan base. Then after Rihanna became the encyclopedic example of consistent by releasing hit after hit and yearly at that.
Once an artist establishes a loyal fan base you can afford to experiment and change-up your sound, but you have to give people a reason to check for you and understand what you're trying to do musically. It sucks, but you have to box yourself in early on in your career.
