It's a cool song, but Tink has some even crazier, better songs in the stash. I just hope that Timbaland doesn't do to Tink what Clive Davis did to Jennifer Hudson. Jennifer Hudson is clearly talented, but Clive Davis tries to force her into the echelon of Whitney and Aretha. It's the same way Timbo is attempting to force Tink into the echelon of Lauryn Hill. Instead of letting them shine on their merits, the grandiose comparisons can eclipse their talents. It leads to people disliking the artist before they are ever given a shot.

I think it's dope however it seems like it's over produced some of the beat changes were kinda unecessary

It's jarring due to him not using the same drum samples he did in the original throughout the entire song.

but yo it sounds like he on his shyt this year

Shyt like this is why I consider Tim one of the GOATS and his sound timeless and versatile as hell. This is basically a "trap/drill beat" with Tim's sound...and the shyt GOES. Compare this to Ye's 'Bytch Better Have My Money' struggle "trap beat" :francis:. Tim ain't perfect, but niccas trying to talk down like he ain't one of the best to ever do it need to get their mind right.

Imagine Tink and Missy Elliot on a Timbaland Trap Beat.

Damn if all his beats were as dope as that then he would be a lot higher on my list. Then again he would probably turn around and give that beat to a fukkin singer or wack ass rapper

Some of the dopest Timbaland beats I've ever heard, were in interviews that no one rapped over, probably didn't sell them either. The illest beat I ever heard in my life was in one of his MTV interviews in 2005. I was fukking pissed that it never came out. Trust this dude has gems in the vault. Some of his shyt is probably too insane for most rappers to even consider rapping over though.
