Young players don’t do shyt for you in this league, Minnesota made the right moves personnel wise. Only on The Coli is a team who hasn’t made the playoffs in a decade plus making horrible decisions when they actually finally MAKE the playoffs. Y’all are cool with these teams being in the lottery for a century as long as they stockpile young players smh.

Thats not true stupid nikka. You draft and develop and add to the core. Young players get better. Do you not see the Warriors? Steph, Draymond, Klay were all young players they drafted who improved. You had OKC with Durant, Harden, Westbrook, Ibaka. All them titles San Antonio won with the core of Duncan, Ginobili, Parker who they drafted and developed. Just about all these trades for superstars tank and kill the depth and future of the team.

Markannen himself is worth not making the trade.

They’ve built a treadmill team with trash defense and spacing that’s all they’ve done. A team that looks good on paper but made the playoffs with one of the worst margins of victory in the league. Nikka fukk making the playoffs if it means getting swept in the damn first round. That core would have eventually found their way to the playoffs without Butler sooner rather than later.

They acquired a player who excels from the same spots on the floor as Wiggins and are therefore stalling his development. Jimmy Butler doesn’t put a team over the top. Teague was a terrible acquisition. Foh nikka.

Maybe the team wouldn’t have been great defensively but the spacing/offense would be infinitely better with shooters like Markannen and LaVine.

They would have max caproom this summer in addition to assets and a very young roster. I can understand wanting to make the playoffs, but it just seemed rushed and the gave up even more a year later to get him when it could have been LaVine and Dunn a year before.

Making the postseason did a lot for that franchise and the fanbase. They don’t even care about the playoffs shortcomings, they’re still happy with the accomplishments they made this season. They don’t make the postseason without Butler. Those two young guards(one coming off a serious injury) y’all keep overhyping are not goin to powered the Bulls to a playoff berth next season.
