I been trying to tell nikkas this for 3 years but they didn't wanna believe me. If people actually watched the Timberwolves play rather than just checking out the box scores they would know this dude Towns was a paper tiger. Dude put up numbers against weak teams and disappears against teams and players that matter.
Remember earlier this year when AD and Boogie were punking him left and right and held him to 2 points in a game.
Karl Anthony-Towns is overrated. PERIOD.

Their mistake was making Towns the focal point. Shoulda just built the team around Wiggins and LaVine hoping one of them breaks through.
Wolves are just a poorly run franchise and Thibs is the worst coach in the NBA.

all that wiggins #1 option shyt, when wiggins wasn't even trying half as hard as anyone else on the team, derailed his drive
then the nerve of the team to single him out on defense when wiggins damn sure gave less fukks too
Wiggins ain't the #1 option. He's the #4 option. Even Jeff Teague gets more touches in that offense.
The mistake the Wolves made is what I been saying since the start of the year. They'll only go as far as Wiggins takes them. He's the only one on that team with the TALENT to be a #1 option on a contender. His problem is he's passive and has no heart. Instead of pairing him with two selfish gunners like Butler and Towns, they should've built a team around him with dudes who would defer to him. Wiggins doesn't have the character to take the #1 spot. He needs to be pushed. The Wolves made the mistake of buying into the Towns hype and pushing him as the #1 option on the team rather than Wiggins.
Hopefully the Wolves blow this team up and trade Wiggins to a team where he'll get more touches. He has the ability to be special. He just lacks the drive.
