Well, there are hundreds of packages getting sent and not all of the illegal substances are getting caught. But I will say that there are drug sniffing dogs who work the conveyor belts. So, if you get busted, you will have some interesting folks knocking at your door.

i was tsa precheck yesterday. they still ran the buzzer on me when i walked through without any metal and made me go in the little xray machine.

didnt see the buzzer go off on a single cac though. also went off like 2 seconds after i already made it through.

unless you a cac i would advise against it on you or your carry on. they racist as fukk.

Well, dogs smell things on a different level. Human sense of smell is not even close to a dog's sensitivity.
And yes, they can smell through Mylar, Tyvec, double-zipper sandwich baggies, etc.
