Water rises to its own level:mjpls:
If your circle aint shyt, then you too, obviously aint shyt too. You just sound like you have some delusions of grandeur going on:mjpls:
If you lived in Boston, you’d understand why my circle mostly consists of broke dudes. Most brehs around here are broke. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family with two parents who did well for themselves. My story, for black people in Boston, is rare. But I still gravitate towards good people with honest souls, regardless of their financial standing. The vast majority of degreed and professional brehs in Boston are very :mjpls: the other brehs who work state jobs, like driving the bus, are hard to connect with because a lot of them came from a different background than me. They’re cool to talk to in passing, but not the kind of cats I want to spend extended periods of time around. Then there are the street cats, of which there are a surprising amount in Boston and surrounding areas. I’ve done my fair share of street shyt, being one of those middle class kids who became fascinated with the street and dipped his toes in it until shyt got too real and I had retreat back home and stop pretending I was about that life. So, the dudes I hang with may not have my ambition or curiosity about life, but I’ve vetted them well and have enjoyed their company - until now. :yeshrug:

Phone blowing up thanks to lames asking me to step out to whatever bar or club at which they’re ringing in the New Year. I wouldn’t be so annoyed were it not for the fact none of these cats have shyt going for themselves. All of them are broke in some form or another, either working a dead end job that pays them pennies or doing even worse and living off the generosity of family and friends. I know some of you will ask why I have these kind of squares in my circle, to which I can only respond that they are genuinely good dudes who are a lot more authentic than the cats around here with money. I need to get the fukk out of Boston. Educated, motivated black people who are on code are nowhere to be found around here. It’s either broke and dusty cats, street dudes, or PAWGers. :snoop:

Don’t worry about a lot of the responses on here, as we know, a hit dog hollers. What you’re experiencing is natural...you’re basically growing apart from those around you. Your reality has expanded...instead of doing mundane shyt like working and smoking a blunt you are now finding vendors, managing cash flow, streamlining operations, fine tuning systems and processes, finding investments, and etc which creates a contrast with those around you.

You try to discuss your world with them but they either don’t understand or don’t care and you end up feeling unfulfilled by your conversation with them. You then try to keep the conversation at their level but your expanded reality reveals the inanity in a lot of their conversations. You wonder why that nikka Demetrius keeps having kids with hood rats or why Travell thinks the big booty hoes he’s fukking makes it worth staying at that dead end call center job he hates so much.

You start realizing that they will always be stagnant, they don’t want to rise and progress like you do. You start seeing them in a different light and that’s fine. You want to talk to people who understand your problems and can help you solve the, and get to the next level. Demetrius and Travell can show you where the smoke is at but you tryna find the capital...there’s a mismatch there.

You hinted that even you thought it was going to fail, which probably means it's a bad idea.

I hope it doesn’t, but the clothing game is saturated. It’s still a Dream I’ve had, which is why I’m following through, in spite of the odds. :yeshrug:

What's the website to check out and purchase your clothing line?

my shyt isn’t even together, to keep it real. I’m a struggling entrepreneur who saved 80 grand and am presently spending it all to launch a clothing line. If I fail, which could very well happen (hell, it’s likely I will fail), most of my savings will be gone and I’ll be back at square one. So, I am definitely flirting with utter life-altering failure right now. Don’t get it twisted.

#ADOS
Boston is a weird place, i can confirm that. From what I've seen, in terms of "black" people, it's regular hood folk and 'different' bp from elsewhere. By different, i mean super smart and therefore possibly weird, boule- adjacent, or not ados and thus foreign in the literal sense of the word. Or whatever other weird shyt young black people are into nowadays.

It's a place of extremes, even among the white people. Due to my pedigree, i could thrive there (went to school near there, new haven and Boston were like second homes, etc), but i wouldn't suggest it. Jmo. :hubie:
