I tried the PC trial. Surprisingly my R9 280 was able to play this game at 4K and what felt like a solid 50-60fps on medium settings or so.

As for the game itself, it seems fun and it was okay but I only played like two rounds so I didn't really get into it.

The story is one of the best for a FPS.
The multi is mad fun. I was actually playing it again sunday night for a bit.

In addition to the new content, we’ve also got some updates to Titanfall 2 in the works. Today we can confirm that between April and June you can expect to see:

  • Gen cap increase to 100
  • Expanded Private Match settings including the addition of Live Fire and Coliseum to the selectable modes
  • A new Faction
  • Marked for Death game mode
  • More Pilot executions
  • Addition refinements to matchmaking like estimated wait time and more
  • More purchasable camos, skins, etc. from the store
  • And more!

Did this game end up being more popular than BF1/CoD? I've noticed people are still talking about this but there's barely any talk about BF/COD.

No, but I think it's the one that's going to have the strongest core base going forward. BF and COD are kinda played out and it's showing with the direction both of those franchises went recently.
