maaannnnn how much of that $100 milli was pocketed by some greedy ass exec? if they didn't throw that number out there I'd have problems believing it could cost $5 mil to develop a controller. I just don't fukkin see it. mind boggling......

Thats just software breh, not like their changing the physical layout anyone can do that. shyt you can adjust sensitivity in controller options. I'm guessing they increased sensitivity by another decimal point or something, going from .01 to .0001 accuracy nothing mind blowing like you making it out to beEveryone is losing their minds over the $100M figure but MS is able to make precision adjustments to a controller through software patches...think about that for a second.

MS makes 100 million before you nikkas wake up in the morning.

You all are looking at it from the wrong perspective. They're making potential "precision" changes, we're not just talking sensitivity settings. The ability to change controller functionality without the need to release hardware. That's a big deal, though I still feel the PS4 is the superior gaming console.lol. thats not groundbreaking tech breh.....
bruh your talking about a game setting change being done at the system level, which would be a firmware patch. If you can explain how its anything more than that ok, but so far your just tryina make it seem like they doing some wild shyt we can't even fathom. You all are looking at it from the wrong perspective. no offense breh but I think YOU are looking at it way wrong. these precision adjustments are in regards to how the software responds to the controller. simple as tweeking settings and adjusting software. its not new tech breh and has absolutely nothing to do with sony or microsoft. i could be wrong i'm not a dev but I doubt it.....
No. The update is for the controller. You have to plug it in and download it straight to the controller. I don't think this is something that's been done before.
