Titanfall got old fast

Ya I gotta say I'm losing hype for this game fast. I was hyped for it when I saw the first unveiling but now seeing it in action doesn't look great at all. The limited boost packs I'm not too thrilled about cause that aspect reminded me of Tribes, one of my favorite FPS's. Also people saying that it plays faster than COD is a big turn off.

Best Graphics by far, Sound by Far, Maps by far... and that's comparing it to any other game. I still had a better experience with MW1,2 BO2 and Halo 3. Something is missing from the game and its that fun factor. I hear it gets better as the game gets deeper but I haven't gotten there yet. Its easy to say I've been playing since quake and I play this a lot therefore I like it. Congrats to my man that said that. I hope he gets a lifetime achievement award. But one has got to wonder how it excels in so many areas but gets killed in sales.

They're not completely different, the mechs don't change it enough. BF & COD are basically the same too except in the realism and how your rewarded. BF doesn't reward you for individual play.

i've always chalked it up to the instant gratification of cod. small maps and easy kills. add smooth 60 frame rates and simplistic fun gameplay of course it'll sale.

what makes them different is the gameplay mechanics. outside of shooting a gun they are not the all that similiar. the only way they become similiar is if you oversimplify them to military shooters. battlefield is a team based game that rewards you heavily for playing as a team, with semi-realistic weapon recoil and physics( bulletdrop). COD is a arcade arena type shooter that has almost no recoil, almost no physics, and tons of micheal bay like explosions. battlefield is like arma lite compared to cod and cod is quake lite compared to battlefield
