I think with this being MSG there's probably not too much to read into it. This was billed as a "Super Show" with both members of RAW/SD there. They usually try to make MSG a memorable show. If Dolan wasn't such an a$$hole, we'd still have MSG PPVs.

Yup, sadly Barclay's has kinda replaced MSG as WWE's "home base" for TV and PPVs because Dolan's stupid ass charges ridiculous fees for TV. It's so fukking dumb.

And he got rid of the Willis Reed Tunnel when he did the renovations in 2011, which hurt the vibe of WWE's shows there too.

I got a feeling they mostly did this because they want to move up whatever AJ Styles' next feud is so now they can do the rematch at Battleground and move on. I don't think it's a coincidence we've seen Chad Gable interact with AJ in the past two weeks, I don't know how but I expect that'll be the next feud.

I remember the last televised MSG show on the MSG Network.

Rocky Miavia turns on Ahmed Johnson joins the nation and the rest is history.

Every WWE MSG house show would always be televised or taped and shown a week later if a Yankees/Knicks/Rangers game was on the road.
