All that WWE community work is just for show. Nothing more than corporate image control. Whatever they need done at WM, Cena can do it, and if they need a black face to represent they can use Xavier, Mark Henry, etc.

From Vince's perspective what Titus did would've been unacceptable in the kayfabe era. And in general , regardless of the horseplay that goes on backstage, when Vince is on TV he wants to maintain his image.
