TLOP, my expectation were much higher and most of the album ended up being forgettable

Views, I was expecting a pop album and that's what it was

After Yeezus I thought Kanye was on his way to forging his own genre, dude was making rap songs with the song structures that could compete with classic rock music, dude was crafting guitar solos with his voice, Blood On The Leaves is easily some of the best songwriting in rap period, fukk jay z, fukk nas, kanye was moving past that basic shyt and taking it to the next level or atleast I thought he was, until tlop dropped :stopitslime:

3rd Rock From the Sun
Kanye had at least 3 tracks I can rock with: Real friends, no more parties in LA, 30 hours

Drake's.... I'm no drake fan but after the whole meek situation and it being brought up again in summer 16 I was like I'll give this nukka album a full listen :ohhh:

I'm in a happy relationship can't get down with that shyt :mjlol:

dude is done creatively, unfortunately. the backlash to yeezus was too much

but i like TLOP

i havent heard views yet, but i suspect i wont like it

I didn't fukk with Kanye at all before he dropped that album, just saw him as a pop rapper with below average rapping skills. Yeezus caught my attention and realized dude is at his best when he isn't trying to be an emcee, songwriting and genre-blending is what he's best at, he sounds best over industrial production rathe than traditional hip hop, I'm not trying to hear straight bars from Kanye

Both are the very definition of an abomination in audio form; however, you know your album's terrible when the "person" that you've been under for years decides to coast your shyt when folks tried to get him to listen to it for a second time

Lol drake wouldn't exist if it weren't for Kanye.

I agree. but what does this have to do with TLOP vs Views and which is more of a disappointment? :umad:

kanye been trash since yeezus tru, but u trippin if u think he wack prior to yeezus...Outside of Outkast, name a rapper that can match Kanye's catalogue breh? kanye arguably has 4 classic if we include Graduation to the already critically claimed College Dropout, Late Registration & MBDF..

Agree w/ everything u said bout drake tho

Kanye has zero classics and all his albums are :trash: in one way or the other.

:mjlol: I can already tell ur an odd cac w/ a horrible taste in music..cuz most cacs that I'm cool with ain't neva said some bullshyt shyt like this :russell:

you're not gonna perfect a style on your first attempt, dude was navigating new territory just getting his feet wet, some songs were wack like i am a god and blackskinhead, but the album showed mad potential overall

TLOP is an excellent album that's worthy of being in Kanye's discography, no disappointment there.
No Kanye album has dissapointed me.
