the game is a port, which aint saying much, all these games are ports, but still...

That's a fair metric. Skyrim competes in that spectrum as well though. Maybe not so much with sales but it's arguably beats it in longevity

MGSV probably had the most polished gameplay I've ever seen in any game.

Even if the story fizzled out due to not having a real Part 3, the gameplay was so good it could be overlooked imo. It really set the standard in terms of how open world should actually be (freedom to perform missions how you want).

TLOU, I was so immersed and invested.
Not excited for part 2 tho at all. They ruined the story
