I don't ever want to hear how reproduction rights is so important. What a waste of political capital. Grocery bills up and these fools running around talking about they have to protect women. The same women who are voting Republican. Meanwhile BM get scolded for asking for an agenda after voting Dem for their entire lives.

I thought Kari Lake was predicted to win (for some reason), surprised she'd want to extend voting time.

So, polling out here is weird.

Mail in voting accounts for a larger chunk of voting than most states, and that polling people were going off of leans more toward in person voting, which obviously leans right, especially now. Also didn't help perception wise that Hobbs basically ran a super low key campaign that was focused on just being the opposite of Lake, who was SUPER active.

:gucci: Thats called being a citizen of a union. Tf.
Yeah I know about that. :gucci:

I'm just saying that it has a big effect on the political landscape of a state. Most people that moved to Florida past two years were cuz of Desantis and were republicans. He barely won in 2018. Compared to this election where he has a nearly 70-30 victory. The election would be much different if those new citizens weren't republicans.

“Pandemic-fueled migration has changed the political makeup of several key swing states,” said Redfin Deputy Chief Economist Taylor Marr. “Hot-button issues like the economy and crime are playing a big part in this year’s elections, making its outcome difficult to predict. But changes in voter registration, which are largely due to new residents who moved in from other places, offer one clue about how certain states will vote.

I don't know if other states have had the same effect as well.

I'm extra pressed over the idea of him winning. MSNBC on the laptop, minute by minute updates on the phone, CNN on the TV.

If I was still a smoker, I would have gone through a whole pack of blacks by now.

:sadcam:
go mediate, watch some videos on youtube of rain to relax yourself
