Yup, someone has to pay for this embarrassment and all signs point to it being Trump. DeSantis had a picture perfect night... GOP would be stupid as fukk not to rally behind him for 2024, but I won't underestimate the power of MAGA and it's lunatic base.

Well to put in simply yes. The important states held there ground. The 2024 presidential election is looking very promising for the dems and an uphill battle for republicans. The republicans will have majority but not to cause gridlock, giving the dems a chance do things in the next 2 years.

If there was a red wave, basically at best we would have election fraud for the next 30 years, with republicans winning everything every time and at worst we would have a fascist system.

This election showed us that the trump machine is on its way out. The republicans can not win using trump as their base.

The political situation for republicans right now is not good. In fact its very complex and gonna potentially get a lot of people to either retire or moved out the paint
The base is too powerful right now

Any sign of them not defending Trump while they are in power in the house is gonna cause a massive problem that might get them primaried

You already got a situation where multiple people are gonna be gunning for power or flexing their muscle because the house majority is so small. They don't even have the political clout right now to favor desantis lol
