So the stench of Toxic Trump messed up the supposed "Red Wave Blowout" last night, huh? lol. MAGA is not and was never the majority of the Country. Considering this is a Non-Presidential Midterm and all the projections had the Dems losing badly. It wasn't this landslide all the polls and pundits were predicting. The Media will always overhype polls in these elections.

Republicans are idiots.

Biden is a old deeply unpopular President and the country is experiencing inflation not seen since the late 70's/early 80's. That alone should give Republicans 30 to 40 seats in the House.

-Roe vs Wade overturned by the Supreme Court hurt Republicans
-Republicans not bushing Trump after January 6th and re-branding their image as a sensible party, and instead embracing Trump, January 6th, extremism, election denial and threats to overturn elections, and authoritarianism. Turned off voters.

The Republican party is still likely to win the House by maybe 5 to 10 seats due to gerrymandering,. But its still a big letdown.

I will say that Biden cancelling some student loans may have helped with youth turnout.

The positive is all that gerrymandering and attacking the political process didn't help the rethugs. Nor did that abortion ban either.

Thankfully young folks participated and understood their votes counted. This one of the few times nation wide young folks came out for midterms. If young folks vote in large numbers nationally usually the dems hold ground or win its as simple as that.

Now them young folks need to not lose focus cause you got to do it again in 2024 cause best believe the rethugs coming out with even more tricks and cheats to win the presidential election.

The republicans are going to push for the legal voting age to be increased to 60+ now.

Stacy Abrams didn't lose because of Black men, it was because of the pawgs y'all love

Question is......white men and white women represented 31 and 30% of the overall vote.

Black Women = 17%
Black Men = 11%

Why is there such a disparity in the percentage of Black men vs Black women actually voting? Like if brehs voted 84% Dem but made up 16-18% of the electorate instead of 11%.
