Minnesota just did a total rejection of the GOP and lost every state election giving Democrats full power of the government. They tricked the GOP into legalizing edibles while in the minority. Governor saying legalization will be one of his first bills voted on. Voting matters. Minnesota going to be a beautiful place to live :blessed:

Republicans flew too close to the sun. They went too far with their rhetoric, overestimated their culture war issues that they thought people cared about (CRT. LGBTQ, Election fraud, "Open Boarders"). and underestimated how unpopular the shyt they actually did was (Abortion, blocking student loan relief).

Republicans think it's a Donald Trump problem, but it's a Republican problem at this point. Their policies are widely unpopular, especially with the youth. They leaned so hard in trying to appeal to the most psychopathic part of its base. and now even normal people see how ridiculous the current GOP has become.
Yeah I think most sensible people could see the new gop are nothing but grifters

I would actually argue they are one in the same all this rhetoric went to extreme levels when he took control he created the atmosphere for the current state of the party.

It really doesn't have you ever tried discussing the electoral college with a bunch of white Republicans in real life? When you tell them that shyt is bullshyt they try to act like you the crazy one. :mjlol:
It’s the same with crime. I’m not excusing it, but proximity to people is a contributing factor. More people clogged together means more opportunities for conflict.

I agree, but now even if you take Trump out of the picture, they're left with the effect. If Ron DeSantis, and politicians like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tom Cotton are the future of the party post-Trump, then the Republicans have a very big problem. That far-right rhetoric may work in places like Florida, but they're gonna run into problems in purple states/swing states.

I 100% agree. Also idk if you saw that tread I posted might have been about a month ago disproving the Republican narrative about crime in blue states and cities. The per capita rates are way higher in red areas.

True the country has proven that it isn't as crazy as it sometimes seems as a whole lol.

I’d say DeSantis is more racist than Trump.

That's still on the table. The fact that Republicans weren't able to dominate both during record inflation is a massive L for Republicans.

Republicans were talking mad shyt like they were gonna wash the Democrats, and they fell waaaaay short
