The meek have inherited the coli. All the real headcases used to at least be be entertaining, but now the biggest names here are nothing but negative narcissists. The creativity is gone and now we're left with nothing but stupid meme and misery shyt from the outside. No more room for any discourse anymore either thanks to soft feelings and cancel culture. Basically we've fallen way to millennialism.

Regardless, I don't think it's a totally lost cause either though.

Yeah, on one hand it's just how the 'net is, but on the other, it does seem like lots of this stuff doesn't even correlate with being grounded in any humor anymore, just nastiness.

@hex had mentioned that TLR is the reason for registration being closed a while back. And I can kind of see the reasoning. I've been saying for years that it should be hidden from public view and only opening up to members once they get to a certain number of posts, but I don't run the place.

This was also discussed in that PM between the mods/admins but I have no idea why it was never implemented.

IDK, the gender war was way more viscous when I joined and the insults were harsher. I think the real difference is a lot of topics just aren't personal anymore, it's all news, celebrity, twitter and the quality of the dominate volume posters is in the dumps, that's why if we could vote for poty I wouldn't cause the posters who dominated dragged the quality of discourse down even further. It'd be like rewarding de-evolution.

TLR been dead for like 4 yrs now. When I check in on here I'm either in The Film Room, Arcadium, or Higher Learning. TLR is the WOAT section on this site and part of the reason a lot of folks either went to Discord or stop posting on Coli altogether.

#2Featured threads and those featured threads if you're the creator being in your tab just like it is for music
#3Being able to upload music WITHOUT a link and being able to pull music from this site that was uploaded to having to use a drop
#4Posting whole article to now editing articles down due to a "500 Internal Error"
#5 Upload Avis to having to edit a jpeg down to having to resize it 98% to upload
#6 No more groups --- remember that years ago.
#7 Not that I care about it but giveaways. Also remember the back to school stuff for the little ones.
#8 WOAT and Poster of the year banners been done and toss for a minute. Banners for the beat battle tournament and the gamers as well.
