You or I don't know any of that, pure speculation at best. Regardless of his intentions, he is still correct.

Some of the reasons behind the logic of why people don't have men baby sit their kids are part of the same reasons why women should be more hesitant to introduce new men into their kids lives.

Young kids are used to being multiple women as caretakers so the attachment does not become as strong as it does when men are inserted into their lives. Woman are just more trust worthy and better apt to dealing with kids so it's not really seen as a big issue to have a woman around kids.
