As foul as it sounds, the child is NOT my responsibility. It's not my place to discipline them, feed them, cloth them, none of that.

As much as I kind of agree and see where you are coming from , I believe that once you decide to bring a person in your life (in a serious capacity), it becomes your responsibility to share their burdens and take on their baggage (kids, scars from past abuse, fukked up credit and debt, etc.)

With that said, it would be 100% on any woman or man that brings someone with that mentality into their childrens' lives. When you have responsibilities like kids, you can't afford half-steppers and expect your child to have healthy emotional development and outlook when it comes to their own lives and future relationships
