true, but life moves on it does get better fight brehs
life ain't no easy ride brehs
most people that kill themselves suffer from mental illnesses. their brains are their own personal hells that they feel imprisoned in.
when ur in that defeated depressed state of mind, u dont think that life gets better. uve been suffering for too long. uve tried too many times. NO ONE WANTS TO DIE. when someone consciously decides that their life is so painful that theyd rather be dead, its a huge thing breh. at that specific moment theyre not able to have that perspective that things gets better, unless someone is able to talk them down. thats why its so important for suicidal people to reach for help. not even a therapist necessarily, just someone to listen to them.
edit: and let me tell you, if someone can find even a glimmer of hope, they will not kill themselves. thats how bad people wanna live. if they believe theres even a 0.01% chance that things might get better, theyll keep on going. its just that in that moment their head is so clouded that unless they wait it out or get talked out of it, they wont see it.
ive been serious about attempting suicide before and i dont consider myself stronger than those that did because i didnt. i consider myself lucky, that i was able to find that glimmer of hope that made me hold on to life. and honestly i waited it out just cuz i didnt have the items i needed to do it on deck
