Not a debut nikka lol
first 2 projects were independent

this was before people respected indie releases, it used to mean you weren't known/good enough to be taken seriously yet. "Debut" referring to work you put out on a major label

shyt even today people still don't really call it your debut project unless it's on a major or atleast getting major label level promotion, Kendrick first album was Section 80 but people called GKMC his debut for that very reason.

TM101 was on Def Jam and most would acknowledge that as his debut to the mainstream

I remember hesitating to buy this album because I thought he wasn’t that good ( I liked Jody breeze more) in the group he was in.

That HOV feature convinced me to cop glad I did :wow:

I remember downloading this when it leaked off the recommendation of SOHH and it instantly grabbed me. Never heard anything like that

So I burned a CD and jumped in my car to see a friend and like 3 other cars were also playing it on the way

Classic in every sense
