I'm liking the move the more I think about it. He shot 45% from 3 his last NBA season. He can pass well. Never been much of a defender, but he has size on the perimeter. The 2nd unit could use some more firepower. This is low risk potentially high reward.

smh at the amount disrespect for the best swingman in the early 2000s.

That was then.

Tmac is a naural born loser. He is a shell of what once was and even then he never won shyt.

Wtf is up with handling tmac with kid gloves? I know he was the man when yall was in elementary school but damn heres TOO MUCH respect for tmac in here.

@Chris_Broussard*2m*T-Mac told me, "I'm just glad to be a part of this environment," T-Mac said via text. "Something I never experienced while being my best."

Just a Kid From Chicago
I see we got a bunch of people who went to nba.com & looked at his PPG averages and just assume that he's flabby :aicmon:. T-Mac obviously isn't and will not be the same prolific scorer that he once was, but if he gets minutes, he's going to produce in a multi faceted fashion. I was pleasantly surprised how well he was able to man the point in Detroit when it came to distributing the ball, and getting others involved; the Pistons had wanted him back because of the way he was mentoring their young players and showing them the ropes before departing to ATL. Speaking of which, I have no clue why he didn't get more burn in Atlanta because when he was on the court he produced. I'll chalk that up to Larry Drew's incompetence.

T-Mac isn't going to 'wow' you in a specific category at this point - which is why I think the team's that bought him in for a workout didn't sign him - but he has a criminally underrated b-ball IQ, he's still an insanely skilled basketball player, and he'll show flashes and every once and awhile of what he once was. Good signing for the Spurs if they plan on utilizing him.

shyt, I'd take him on the Bulls over R.I.P any fukking day of the week :what:

T-mac is my dude, but he definitely was :flabbynsick: when he was last in the league. Hopefully he can give the spurs some quality minutes off the bench. I am glad to see him back in the league though. He is another one that got derailed by injuries. Them back back spasms man. I always wanted to see what Houston might have been able to do in the post season if he and Yao could have ever been healthy at the same time.
