T-Mobile in NYC is excellent
I agree. I've been with them about 2 years and keeps getting better. Except building penetration when deep in some big ass building I go 2g/3g or no signal.

Oh and I forgot,...
You need Verizon if you are in an areas dominated by white people.
To the point you know if you don't have a hitter.
You could come across the wrong type of white person.
who has it in for black people.
Like I drive a vette out here and white cats all hate a black man with more than them.
To the point, vette's are gas guzzlers and I could run out of gas rather easily.
I don't give a damn because I was a dan Ryan expressway concrete inspector and engineer.
So it is light work for me to walk anywhere on any highway.
Except out here if that happens I need an always working cellie. As, these roads out here do lead to some questionable areas.
That having a cellphone is most important.

This needs to stop..

I live in NY and had T Mobile for 2 years and the shyt was garbage!

Yep. I'm in Phoenix and just switched back to Verizon after having T-mobile over a year. Good got how terrible T-mobile service was. Literally, ever single time my wife or I called each other, we'd have about 2-5 cases (per any phone call, regardless of either location) of some sort of silent lag hangtime where either of us could be talking and not hear each other till about 15-25 seconds later the service would drop back in. And that's when our phone calls actually got thru or didn't drop in totality, which was about every other phone call as well. Had literally no reception at home w/o wifi. Same deal at work too, even when outside, all around my work building.

Meanwhile, back at greener pastures of Verizon, I got 4-5 bars consistently at my desk, never have dropped call, even when driving in underground parking garages, never any hang time. Just astoundingly better service. Even the prices are a wash considering our current plan vs. average monthly usage prior. Unlimited data doesn't mean shyt if you can hardly access it outside of wifi. Only thing I miss about T-mobile was free data tethering. I'll admit, Verizon is on some straight up bullshyt with having to pay more to implement that feature.

Recently switched from Straight Talk to T-mobile for data reasons.

To the TS, I'd definitely say check out Straight Talk if that's all the data you use. I just stream music a lot so I was going over all the time and T-mobile doesn't count music/video streaming against your data.

As far as coverage, I'd say T-mobile is like 70% as good for me as AT&T (in South Florida). But i'm cool with that because of the price I pay and I don't talk on the phone all that much anyway. Plus I vacation out the country every few months and T-mobile has free data and texts. I was just in Europe for two weeks and I was still getting texts and emails like I was here, it was wild.

:mjlol:

That's the point. T Mobile has terrible signal penetration which means you can't good service in buildings, certain restaurants, etc.

I couldn't get any service at my desk at work and got none in my crib :what:

T Mobile is trash

I hear you, but I don't have the problem come up often. I get great service at home and work where I spend 95% of my time. the times it's happen was in basements and and some high school I was at in the BX by Tremont close to the 6 train.
