She willingly returned. It was a choice. She had her own home that she could have left and never be heard from again. She’s not a victim of coercion. It was a trauma bonding and toxic relationship. I’m sure there are things the prosecution purposely left out to paint a narrative to make Cassie look helpless which they did a poor job at and Cassie’s transgressions will get brought up in the cross. It was a sidebar when the day started about the prosecution wanted to know the defense’s strategy and the defense argued that everything they will bring up is in discovery.
