There definitely was other stuff, business related and associates related, but the situation with the brother in law made the totality of the issues unmendable. If everybody was being honest, and didn’t just pretend to like them because of nostalgia and loyalty to the “West Coast”, they would admit that Common and Cypress Hill saw to this shyt a long time ago. For my money, with how fukking classic the first 10/12 years of Cubes career, the classic NWA and solo albums with the bomb squad were, Ice Cube had easily the biggest fall off in the history of hip hop. I know that the money is better in Hollywood, but the absolute lack of effort he put in once he started acting makes Snoop seem like he actually still nice.
I still think it's messed up he didn't acknowledge Gonzoe's death...publicly anyway.
