Okay, let's be FAIR, though...I'm with ere'body else in here when it comes to Cube doin suspect things, but he DID write the majority of their hits that made them all megastars....including the majority of Eazy's album.
Not to mention....a majority of the songs on Amerikkka's Most Wanted were originally supposed to be NWA songs for their second album....imagine "Efil4zaggin" with "Once Upon A Time In the Projects" on it.
Your totally mistaken. Ice cup wrote Boyz n the hood,Dope man,A bytch iz a bytch,I ain’t tha one, Gangsta Gangsta, 8 Ball and No more Questions! He Only wrote 2 songs on the Eazy Duz it album by himself, the rest was written by MC REN, DR.DRE and THE D.O.C. As far as SOC,he wrote his parts on all the songs and the songs that he did by himself! The true success of those songs on the Eazy Duz It and SOC albums is because of Dr.Dre and if I’ve said it once I’ll say it a million times more….Ruthless and NWA didn’t need Ice Cup to succeed and they proved it after he left.nikkaz4Life sold over 2 million and every Gangster rapper or group had to follow suit, including Ice Cup because NWA was the standard for that shyt at that time! I won’t take anything from him for what he did in his solo efforts because I actually bought AMW just to see what it would sound like! [Classic Album because of the time and Era] but as far as NWA, I was a fan and I rode with the Crew and feel the same way till this day.and I Quote what that broad once said: I don’t know why they let his punk azz in group anyway when they knew what kind of bytch he was: End Quote.
Fact of the matter is that this dude has always and still tries to make shyt about himself and what he wants! He still performs today and if you’ve ever been to one his shows he’s still bragging on how he dissed NWA with no Vaseline, but if you see him with Dre or any other members he’s all buddy buddy with them nikkaz, but for some people they have to poke the bear and yank the chain to stay relevant in the very ladder parts of they’re career.
Pathetic, but so be it! I’ll end on a positive note though…..Even though I wasn’t a fan like that,It would be cool to see WSC perform together at some of these Classic HipHop shows that’s coming to some of the cities around U.S. We need more of the Classic shows because there’s a lot of older heads like myself who would love to see they’re era of HipHop on stage and it’s great for the culture! God knows we need it!
