Enough for people to start going through all their old files & selling them to TMZ, Busted Coverage, and so on. The Manziel money phone vid didn't happen this summer or after the draft. JGolfer isn't a friend of Manziel, but got access to the clip and held on to it until it could make maximum impact. He even asked on Twitter how much ESPNnewsdesk and Fox would pay for it. Before Manziel's birthday, Busted Coverage tweeted they'd pay anyone who could catch a pic of him celebrating. When I see anything on a major athlete these days, I question everything the reports say, timeline included. Even when corrections are pointed out, media rarely apologizes or even notes it on air.
A friend of mine saw it. Not much to it. It was a slap fight, shoving match and a short one. Bike cops were halfway down the block when it started and it stopped the minute they rode up. No one standing around had any idea who Manziel was at that time, including the cops, so no reason to pull out the phones to film it.
