so relieved he's recovering and will be ok. a parents worst nightmare is a medical issue totally out of your control. prayers and positive energy to bonny and family. could be a blessing in disguise if it alerts them to some other issue they can address so he continues with a fulfilling life.

Insurance being in the way is a constant story of healthcare in this country.
I went to do my yearly wellness (keep in mind, I’m 24), and one of the last things my Dr told me is that “we could also do a cholesterol check, but that wouldn’t be covered for your age..”

This is how dudes that seemed healthy for years just drop dead at 40. Nothing is preventative in this country

Shaq son had an heart issue and had heart surgery in 2019.

I just saw a NFL podcast were these dudes was talking about what they consume b4 a game. Dude said 4-5 cups of coffee, a T-shot, a Red Bull, and an 5 hour shot right before the game. Then do another T-shot at halftime. WTF
!! That's a shyt load of caffeine. What about your heart my guy.
I want to say that this is impossible, but I guess. drinking a shyt ton of water might get you thru it, but you're hastily destroying your cardiovascular system in the process.

energy drinks are directly linked to cardiovascular issues and they're marketed to kids & young adults.

I don't want to speculate tho, for Bronny it could be a number of things

It's a discussion for another thread, but if y'all think that vaccine (or any medicine, period) is 100% safe in 1,000 out of every 1,000 ppl, you're supremely misguided.

There's always outliers in anything.

I'm NOT saying that's what happened here though. Just making a point.

So then its a personal choice whether or not someone should take it?
And it should be illegal to mandate someone take them?
Or should everyone be forced to take medicine that comes with side effects?
And should taking said medicine be a requirement to do certain things?
Like play home games if youre a basketball player for a team that plays in New York?

It just doesn't make sense for a healthy kid to get cardiac arrest. It's scary stuff cause he has his whole life ahead of him. This might affect his entire career going forward.

Consuming too many energy drinks/caffeine will do it. Throw it into a cocktail of lack of sleep and a intensive workout and that will speed things up.

That ain’t how young men work. I’m sure Bronny wants to make his own mark and I don’t blame him.
Understandably so but if I was dumb rich I’m shutting my boy down till he gets thoroughly checked out. No lifting, no cardio ,we figuring this shyt out.
