Bout to rep you.

Real Talk: Monday Night failures pushed me toward New Japan. Not only do I not regret my decision, but, once again, I'm excited by the sport.

They're getting people coked up once a year to justify 11 moths worth of commercials. Nah, I'll pass on that.
Okada vs Makabe on AXS had me :wow:

Had everything. Exciting commentary/great storytelling/table spot/emotionally invested crowd/For the title

I don't watch NJPW at all, but don't they fill the Tokyo Dome for shows? I would bet some of those cards have a big fight feel to it
they do but the avg american wrestling fan doesnt seem to be able to connect with it. the night with JR on commentary bridged some gaps, but overall i think people see it as WWE or bust unfortunately

i cant even get some friends to watch nxt because they think its gonna be some backyard federation or some shyt. people love the big setup that WWE has i guess.

Rewatching WM reminded me that Big Moment feel WWE can pull off seemingly at will is suttin that TNA NJPW or anyone just cant compete with unless Dixie's dad opens them pocket books up and buys a cable network.

WWE problem is lack of effort but when the effort is there you can't touch it.
NJPW just did in january :dahell:

Everywhere
maybe no from a "big show" stand point, but the in ring wrestling:gladbron::noah::ooh: Nakamura >>>> dby and I am a huge bryan fan... Lets be honest, brocks style that yall like so much is NJPW,
Can't really say Nakamura is better than D Bry considering the styles and talent they are working with now.

Wk9 was NOT fukking wit WM It was great but WM was >>> n I'm sure NJPW would agree

That's your personal opinion.

I enjoyed Nakamura v Ibushi more than anything at Mania. That's my personal opinion.

Alot of WWE fans are not fans of the genre of pro-wrestling, they just like WWE.

It's debatable.

As good as Cesaro is and as over as he was around Mania last year, Vince went on TV and said that he flopped Cesaro's push himself, and then said the reason the fan reaction fell off was "because he's Swiss". Cesaro might not ever get 20 minutes on the big stage because of that. That alone is enough to make me :patrice: and that's before we talk about Black wrestlers.

I let the language barrier put me off for a while too, but the storytelling in NJPW is way more nuanced than the WWE. Not just stop gap stuff to fill a 3 hour show on Mondays. I don't really sweat the quiet Japanese reactions either. Bugged me out at first, but it's the cultural differences that add to the whole package, to me.

WM was def an "event" and even hating the product like I do right now I'd be lying if I wasn't marking out when the DX/NWO shyt popped off. The music and the stare downs was :wow: That's our childhood brehs.

I was bored with the Taker/Bray stuff, without the streak and false finishes and drama Taker matches are boring as hell to me these days. They will need a big time opponent and Taker gonna have to do some appearances on Raw to build a angle to have me give a fukk about his match next year:yeshrug:

Brock/Roman felt big time as fukk once the bell rang, Roman has the presence for the main event his character needs actual clear motives and direction.
