When did WWE do this stuff to other companies?Was Tony Khan paying TV stations to drop ROH and NJPW's programming and air them instead? Was Tony Khan threatening cable companies that he'd pull AEW's pay-per-views if they aired ROH and NJPW, and when cable companies told him to never pull a stunt like that again he aired a special against their PPV when he didn't get his way? Was Tony Khan threatening venues if they hosted ROH and NJPW shows? Did he run shows in the same towns drectly against ROH and NJPW shows? Did he threaten to by out ROH and NJPW offices? Was he giving wrestlers signing bonuses if they left ROH and NJPW without giving notice?

There's a big difference between signing available talent and directly interfering with a company's ability to draw money. Companies are gonna spend what they can spend and talent is gonna take what they can.
Oh lemme guess, AEW was in the wrong from the beginning because they put Dynamite on NXT's night? NXT, the on-demand web series that only got a fraction of its viewership from the live premiere
AyoFunny thing is they gonna be competing against themselves, or maybe not.

They have Thursday, Sunday, and Monday. They do Saturdays late in the season and early weeks of playoffs. They just started doing the Thursday night games in recent times cuz they would run games on Thanksgiving so that was an easier night for them and their schedule. Plus now they doing a black Friday game and Christmas i know netflix ran one of those days last year cuz the games draw big ratings.
But not really any weekly wrestling on Sundays and Thursdays so Monday the only one and Raw on Netflix. Not sure what the difference was thru the years for football season vs non football season when it comes to Raw ratings and this the first year they on netflix vs cable. I feel like Thursday night game is usually weaker so those may get lower ratings then the Monday ones and especially the Sunday ones. Also to note that Monday on espn/abc and Sunday on nbc while thursday on Amazon prime so more people likely have the broadcast channels vs the Amazon subscription.
Interestingly the nfl usually has most of the top 50 ratings each year. Think i saw something last year or so that they had like 48 of the top 50 so trying to go against them won't do anything.
When it comes to Dynamite and even WWE RAW, I think people overstate the pressure/need for fans to urgently watch while it’s airing
One of the main selling points of streaming is everything being at your own leisure. I doubt the people at Warner can care less if I watch dynamite while it’s aring or simply click on the shyt the next morning. As long as I’m watching it, along with the rest of their library

AEW beat the third brand of WWE when they were still figuring shyt out. Now things are better and they have more talent; fukkin wild how they want to do this.
