You're confused. All TNA did was give him a platform to get his name out, creatively they did nothing to make him a star. Wasn't he teaming with Tyson Tomko? then after that wasn't he running some bootleg Ric Flair gimmick? Then after that wasn't he running some bootleg crow Sting gimmick?


If that's all they had for one of the best wrestlers in the world, what would make anyone think they can take a homegrown talent and develop that into a star?

Rock himself had to ask for 2 minutes of mic time. That's when the change happened. There's a reason Roman Reigns hasn't been over, because they've tried to manufacture him. Stars are made in wrestling organically.
