A verbal contract or a handshake deal may be just as enforceable as a written contract. Verbal or handshake agreements are subject to the same contract principles that apply to written contracts. Any agreement that cannot be performed within one year. Again, contract law varies from state to state.

How do you prove a handshake deal though always get stuff in writing

:manny: I guess if you have witnesses?

If it's a he said she said thing then there's no reason to even bring the shyt up, but if you have a room full of people who heard him verbally agree and then shake hands afterward then you'd have a case...I guess.

Also those aren't my statements I looked it up to see if words and handshakes were legally binding and that is what I found, guess whatever state they were in would come into play also...still makes me wonder why if you could sue for this why didn't Vince hit up Luger when he bounced?

Batista winning would have been awful. And he's way overrated. He shouldn't have won at all.

That's the exact reasoning that they could have parlayed that into legitimate heat though.

He didn't need to win the title. The threat of it happening would have been enough. Particularly after Rock came back to win the title in time for 'the Fast & The Furious press run.

It was high jacked
Have heel tista win and be a foil from rhe jump for bryan
Instwad ir was an awkward mess until they figured it out

Pretty much - Vince was short sighted with a lot of it, and Randy was kind of just 'there'

The literal Hollywood star vs the Indy tested man of the people, would have been a simple but good story.

shyt - Roman was the last man thrown out that year. Could have started something organic with him back then instead of trying to force it now.

But :cokeboycism:gonna :cokeboycism:

Yeah they are legally binding but they're hard to prove so they are practically worthless

It's like a verbal will hardly ever gets used in probate court and is easily challenged

Anybody who has ever felt they aren't getting paid right despite being amazing at what they do or the tasks they've been given can relate. Given how they lowballed him last time, I would have dipped for the E money after shaking hands and signing he TNA contract with Dixies favorite pen :russ:

Instead of starting a new promotion Jarrett should have bought back TNA. Say what you want about his ring talent but he at least knows the business. He would have never let Styles leave in the first place. TNA was good when Jarrett was in charge. It started going downhill when Hogan and Bischoff came in and continued its downward spiral when they left.

Jeff Jarrett got his shyt took, ran out and can't even get his new promotion on TV anywhere.

i stopped watching not long after hogan & bishoff came in.

they turned a superior promotion into wwe-lite.

i hear jarrett was getting ridiculous tho.

When? Brysn beat cena clean
Orton clean
Batista clean
Triple h clean
How is this not the biggest push for a face weve seen in years?

who got the bigger billing at the end of the day?

:rudy:Since Jeff left, dixie has been dropped from the label TWICE, ALL of her top talent has left, and she ran back to kiss his ass & apologize when TNA needed a spark to their :trash: product last year.

Meanwhile Jeff received a huge buyout from TNA shares, took THEIR tv time for his company, and his company tours all around the world with no TV deal while TNA has to give away tickets to get enough people in the building to not have to make every match an empty arena match.
