:salute: to Taryn and Gail, had a feeling they'd deliver.

Probably my favorite feud in wrestling now. The match felt like they both really hated each other.

One of the highlights. Crowd going crazy for the match was music to my ears, loved that. Twist of fate/running cutter off the ramp was super unexpected. Glad they impressed.

This is something that the AJ vs. Kaitlyn feud needs, some brutality. Some feeling that both women wanna kill each other. Besides a few backstage fights between them, as far as matches go they haven't really been given a chance to extend the feud and get folks to care. They could have easily had a Wrestlemania match and then an Extreme Rules rematch with a stipulation attached just like this Gail vs. Taryn match.

Anyway it's cool seeing folks hyped about a women's match, women don't get as much respect in the wrestling world but there's some women out there that can really wrestle(shoutout to Shimmer and Stardom) and do more than hair pulling and screaming. Taryn showed that she's not just some skinny girl who can't do anything and Gail proved once again why she's one of the best women's wrestlers ever. Everybody always shoutouts Trish and Lita when it comes to women's wrestlers but to me Gail has surpassed both of them but she doesn't really get as much love like they do. Not a shot at them, I'm just saying.

I'd say that the reason I initially thought it was going to be terrible was because of the fact that Taryn can't wrestle AT. ALL. Like, at all. The intangibles? She's actually pretty good at those. Great intensity, great at getting sympathy, great at making it look like she actually hates Gail. But as soon as she wrestles a standard match, it all goes out the window because she immediately makes wrestling look prohibitively fake.

I thought they were going to do a wrestling match with hardcore trappings, which would've been awful. Instead, they took the Steiner/Goldberg template of "fukk wrestling, we're just going to kill each other" and just wailed away. This allowed Taryn to avoid what she's worst at and focus on what she's best at. Ergo, good match (and kudos to whomever put the match together as well, whether it was Gail or some agent).

TNA has dropped Todd Keneley from their announce team. He was told about the change at Slammiversary, which will be his final appearance. He was brought into the promotion by executive producer Eric Bischoff, who used him on several prior projects, and debuted in October 2012.

The plan is to go back to the two-man announce team of Mike Tenay and Taz. Keneley could be used again later if a role is found for him.

He was not dropped due to unhappiness with his work, but because TNA decided to streamline the announce team. He was dropped because he was not under the contract and had the least seniority.
