That was supposed to be their launch pad, but they hire Hogan. Who alienated the hardcore fan base by changing into a WCW lite. Got rid of the gimmicky 6 sided ring, but that is their one GOOD gimmick where it gave them a unique identity.That Hogan Era of TNA was some of the most questionable television I've ever witnessed.

I remember watching the buildup to this "new Monday Night Wars" and it could not have gone any worse. The worst thing about it was that this was in 2010. WWE in 2010 was the most tame and watered down it had been since 1995. All TNA had to do was not be WWE-lite, but that's exactly what they did. They brought back every former WWE guy they could get, and it turned out to be abysmal.
