Week 1 was shockingly good, but it wasn't indicative of what they were gonna be. That's where a lot of people got gassed because they're thirsty for any good news.

People forget that this team is trash as fukk for the most part, but wanna look at the glass half full because there ain't much else to do.

I knew not to be gassed in week 1 because of this.

The offense is suspect, period. And YES....with those names it is difficult to move the ball downfield. They are plodders and Robbie is built for flag football. And lets not even talk about our o-line.

The offense is suspect, I def agree there but I dont think we seeing eye to eye as to why it is. McCown made Robbie, Kearse, and Enunwa look more than serviceable last season. Either Darnold sucks, Bowles and Bates have no clue how to make the offense work, or a combo of both. The personnel ain't the main problem.

I know Hue Jackson is trying to look out for a fellow brother in Tyrod but Baker Mayfield can do things Tyrod can't or mentally won't do. Mayfield gives Cleve the best chance to win.

Todd Bolwes is a fellow Jersey breh but he has hit his limit as a coach.

Sam Darnold will be fine. The Jets should have picked up Josh Gordon because right now they have no one who can blow the top off a defense.

I agree with every word of that post, but I want to comment on this right here. I see Sam being fine, but only that. I don't think I have any reason to believe he'll be more than that. Did you see Baker tonight?!

I'm not disagreeing there. So you dont think the playcalling has anything to do with it? Darnold making boneheaded decisions isn't hampering the offense as well? I know you've seen teams with less move the ball more efficiently than wee have so far this season.

It's not gonna matter if the playcalling isn't gonna call for plays where you can get bigger chunks of yardage.

Darnold is a rookie. This team isnt fair to him. I wanted Bridgewater to start
