I blame both. Players for fukking up AND clear woeful play calling by the coaches. No discipline form the players. Its a top to bottom failurte as an organization. It isn't black and white. I've never seen anyone look at a team thats awful and say ya the coaches aren't the issue here, it's all on the players.
I never when I played ball say “damn coach. I blame you too” for a penalty I made. Trumaine Johnson gets paid way too much to put it on a coach fornhis mistakes.

Sometimes it is black and white. You call plays to the level of personnel. But I guess you are alright With saying fukk personnel when we ran all streaks with David Nelson, Jermey Kerley, Jeff Cumberland and Gregg Salas. And lets call intermediate to deep passes with our suspect offensive line. Its a game of madden afterall. :scust:

It's funny you're here btw, Trubisky ain't it either breh. Like I said, I may be wrong, I hope i'm wrong. But my bet is he doesn't pan out. Especially with the way the team is looking. His confidence going to get shattered out there.
Not sure what Mitch has to do with this. Also Bears fans never accepted him as some savior. He didn’t come with the same hype as most top drafted qbs. Regardless it’s just bad sports talk to write off a rookie qb after his 3rd game. It’s one of the most difficult positions in sports and its pretty unprecedented for a rookie to come in day one crushing it

He has absolutely nothing to do with it. I just felt like bringing it up to a Bears fan while talking about QBs. No need being defensive. Also, no one is writing him off. I'm just saying I dont think he's that good. I don't anticipate this leap others are. He is what he is. And I don't see it improving. We'll see

You're being intentionally obtuse now. You're a better poster than this. We can agree to disagree.
No I am not. I refuse to blame coaches and players for crappy decisions of a front office.

I asked for a teddy trade in December and to draft Bradley Chubb. I knew coming in we had a crappy o-line. Knew we had no game breakers offensively.

We....knew...these....things. Yet its still on the coach because they are playing as expected.

Nope...

I didn’t even defend Mitch, not sure how that’s being defensive. I think it’s a bit crazy to assume a 21 year old rookie starting QB won’t improve moving forward. You are 100% writing him off? You just said he won’t be a franchise QB and essentially called him a finished product

I think with Tyrod and most black QB's are they be afraid to fukk up because they know the leash is shorter. Thats why he dinks and dunks. Real world shyt for all of us not just black QB's. We have to be 1000x's better. Hate it had to be him.
I wanna agree with this because the logic is sound...but then how can we explain Mahomes?

Breh out here gunslingin on some black Brett Favre shyt...zero fear goin down the field with it.

I wonder if it's really that black QBs get pigeonholed early as "athletic" and pushed to use their legs in college by coaches desperate to win games and keep their jobs...its an easy way to mask recruiting /strategy/gameplanning failures by the coaching staff while tackin a few extra wins on their record.

Dude above brought up Goff....I don't want to sound crazy or use an unscientific cliche...but I knew Goff would've been good. He had the talent. I saw things in him. Same with ARod when he first started. With Darnold, I'm just not getting that same feeling. Same with Mitch. Decision making isn't there. It's just my feeling. You're optimistic, I'm not. There have been plenty of QBs that just never make the leap. Age has nothing to do with it. shyt he could still be successful. Matt Stafford is a fukking bum IMO but he's had a decent NFL career. Darnold reminds me of him a bit.

You may be right. Just too early to definitively say he will not be that guy rn imo. He has some nice tools
