`It was never a song people took all that serious because no one really understood what was being said

Almost everyone had their own mocking way of rapping the song.

In the beginning, that joint was played all over NYC, but it was a remix. No one knew he was white, so it was a trip when the video came out, and the remix was much better then the one in the video. I had it on vinyl. The one I had was just a black jacket and the vinyl had the e/w logo for east/west records. The remix was so banging, I can't find it no place.

What was the remix? I never heard it.

And everyone thought he was black everywhere, until that video dropped then everyone was like :childplease:

I can't remember what it was called. I tried looking on youtube and it's nowhere!.

Now that I think of it, I wonder if it was the original version because from what I remember it had nobody talking in the beginning like the video version, which is another reason I was shocked when I heard mc shan's voice in the version that is popular. All I know is that version was the shyt but, maybe it was too hard for the mainstream, and they had to water it down, because it sounds NOTHING like the video version. The only thing that's the same is the lyrics. I lost the record but I used to always cut that beat up or blend it with other acapellas so I remember it. If I knew it would be this hard to find, I would of kept that shyt in perfect condition, and stored away.
