I'm not sure how it ballooned to $2200 but I do remember a story from back in the day that Chubb Rock claimed to have a hook up on PS2s. Back when it first came out. Prince Paul gave him some bread to get a couple, and Chubb Rock bounced and ducked him for years.

from what I heard paul said that he had paid chubb that $2200 for a camera or something and it seemed shady cause chubb said if you want the camera you gotta give me the cash right now no questions asked and so paul did and then chubb never came through with it and never returned his calls. i guess chubb was hustling cats like that all over around the time that album was set to drop.
