To be honest, I doubt we'll ever see another player on the level of Kobe/lebron/mj

Ok but in all seriousness tell me James Harden weaknesses. He's bigger/stronger than most 2 guards, athletic. Can shoot outside and mid range. Gets to the line better than any 2 guard. Can handle he ball as good as any 2 guard. He can make plays like a point guard and has a decent IQ. He can rebound and defend if he wants. Has a decent post game and most unstoppable euro step in the league. And only has 1 year as a starter under his belt. You Kobe fans think he can't put up numbers like Kobe or even be compared to him? :beli:

Because its been 10 years since we seen Lebron, and we dont have a player drafted since 2003 thats even close to what I described.

Lmao, I like how you clowns act like all kobe has is a killer instict. Westbrook kobe level? Lmao. Kobe has shut down scoring champs before, in fact he even shut down westbrook himself in the playoffs at one point. A-1 DEFENSE IS REQUIRED TO MEET THE CRITERIA

LMAO, what? A couple, as in theres gonna be a handful of players in next years draft on the level of kobe mj and lebron? Care to name them?
breh, before Jordan was drafted no one predicted that he would've done what he was gonna do

before Kobe was drafted no one believed that he was going to achieve the levels he had the talent to achieve.

Lebron has only been accepted on Kobe/MJ level over the past three years.

There is a better than good chance that whoever is the next to be mentioned in the same breath will be someone we don't expect

You'll never see but their is always someone bigger, faster and stronger above the level of the athletes you've mention. I thought MJ was it considering his accomplishments but Lebron is on pace and can potentially make it there. Time will tell.

We havent even had a center better than wilt, and his prime was way back in the 60s.

now when i say player like MJ, kobe, bron, i mean a player who can do it all.

Not just 30ppg, but 35+ppg, 7+ rebounds a game, 6+apg, 2+ steals a game.

Winning scoring titles, all while making defensive first team.

A player who can drop 50 points one night, then shut down your best scorer the next night.
Lets keep it real, durant is not that type of player.

I think if there was another player like that, we wouldve met him by now.
MJ got drafted in 84, kobe got drafted in 96, lebron in 03. Almost 11 years later and no player has come close to being the type of player those 3 are. I mean I guess you got Tmac, so its unfortunate how his career turned out.

Kobe is easily the closest player to MJ ever it's like a bridge that lasted 30 years watching both of them play.Lebron is a physical beast but skills and mentality wise he don't match up to Mike and Kobe he's the best athlete the nba ever saw

Kobe's the closest in terms of style; Lebron's the closest in actual ability.

Forget Kobe, there will be another just like him. James harden can put up Kobe averages 27/6/5 if he tries. And Durant is pretty much TMAC. But I don't even think we'll ever see another Iverson. No way someone like Kyrie Irving leads type league in scoring a few years, wins an MVP and carries his team to an NBA finals. Iverson was one of those "once in a generation" type players too. Only he never won a title.

We'll never see another Iverson because we'll never see another 6 ft shooting guard given the freedom to shoot terribly all season long.

Don't come in here with that Durant cabbage. There is no reason that lanky ass tree shouldn't be the defensive player of the year every year, and leading the league in rebounds :pacspit:

Westbrook will go down as the better player if healthy :youngsabo:

So every player over 6'10" with a semblance of athleticism should lead the league in rebounds and win defensive player of the year?

Uhhh, fukkin' right :beli:.

If he doesn't go down as one of the best defenders of all time then it will be out of total laziness and a lack of dedication to the game. He should be more of a beast on D, but he has yet to establish any semblance of dominance in that area of his game.

He should not have any comparisons to Lebronze until then, the same goes for Melo too :birdman:
