If SAS was around in the 60's, he would have been invariably critical of Ali. Starting with:

"You know, this kid talks way too much. It's blasphemy. Sonny Liston is gonna knock Clay out and that will be the last we'll hear from him."

"What would possess someone to change their name? Preposterous"
That's exactly why Stephen A. and others will be looking funny in the light 10-20 years from now.

1. He's asking them for a job, not the other way around. That's like no showing a job interview and demanding they switch it to a day you like better.

2. Its absolutely clout chasing. nikka wanted his own camera crew there, for what? The only way NFL films could edit the footage to make him look bad was if he was actually out there throwing bad passes. But I'm sure it was just for transparency and not to collect footage for a documentary to be sold to a streaming service :martin:

3. What does he have to gain? He has to keep the people on his side. This is the social media age and people will forget you in a heartbeat. His former team is flourishing without him, black QBs have taken over the league, and his star was fading until his ol lady went at Jay Z.
1. He's asking for a job from a place that lost a lot of money bc of him. You don't think they'll do whatever they can to keep him out? They gave him a shot to save face. No way they were gonna bring him back.

2. They own the footage if he does good they dont have to release it. Players get to record their tryouts and draft workouts for them to study what went wrong or right. You're assuming he would have used it for a documentary. It was to protect him so they can't say he was trash if he wasn't.

3. If he's not playing why does he need to stay in the public eye? He wasn't before this. He wasn't making statements or putting out footage of everything he did. He wasn't the one talking about him. Everybody else was. He donated money and time to charities and worked with schools and homeless but didn't have a camera crew there to show people.

I'm not saying you're wrong but you're assuming a lot. The fact is nobody really knows bc he's not out here trying to prove anything except he can still play.

Everybody against kaep is so focused on him "antagonizing" the NFL. That happened AFTER they tried to set him up for failure. Before this workout one of the main problems was that kaep wasn't saying anything. How did he antagonize the NFL before this other than the kneeling?

If the NFL was really trying to give him a chance why switch everything up? Why did they want their recievers, no media or cameras, and to workout on a day where most teams couldn't send a rep to see everything. They wanted to control the narrative but when kaep took control it was a problem.

I don't think hes "clout chasing". What does he have to gain from it? He already has the people on his side. What would be the point?
And again, people make ignorant posts like this when yall dont know the full story yet yall wanna spread yalls non-informed opinions

There were MULTIPLE teams that were interested in kaep over the last 2 years, he and his gf sabotaged LITERALLY every opportunity, BEFORE this work out was ever even thought up, so what are you even talking about???

Hes clout chasing PERIOD

Outside the NFL hes a jesus figure freedom fighter to the confused and uninformed

Inside the NFL hes a mediocre backup QB and the spotlight is gone from off him

that is the price when u become influential, but nikkas are in denial, when u reach a certain level ( money wise popularity and influence) some folks come grab u to the side and start telling u to watch ur tone on certain issues.:francis:

There is a reason why most active athletes actors or any person of a certain level of celebrity that's black will stay quiet on certain issues, because it will literally cost them money. and we love money more than we love freedom:yeshrug:

so lets not act surprise that Steven A as taken a certain stance on this issue. :unimpressed:

I do not agree with the "white man is more black" bullshyt, but, I definitely NEVER considered SAS putting on for black folks.

He's the first one acting like he's someone Daddy everytime a black man does something wrong from players to coaches.

Son injects race into every situation a black man fukks up.

He's deep into that conservative "just put your head down to get that bag."

He straight up said he believes Kaep is being black balled....but, he needs to do EVERY THING THE NFL tells him to do :russ:

No, SAS and TO a clown
if were going by stats- how did TO "fukk up" with the Hall of Fame.. :mjtf:

what did TO not do.. :unimpressed:

You honestly believe the NFL lost money because of him? Most of the people supporting him hardcore don't even watch football. The ones who do are casual at best.

The media was to be there covering the event. The NFL can't control what the media reports on.

He put himself back in the public eye when his girlfriend went at Jay. Before that you're absolutely right no one was talking about him. Which is poison if you're trying to maintain a brand.

But all that bullshyt aside, you know the best way to prove you're not trash and have all the documented evidence you could possibly want?

The 3 years he spent claiming all he wanted to do was play football he could have took his ass to Canada or the AFL. And before someone says he shouldn't have to settle for a lesser league... if those leagues are good enough for Kurt Warner and Warren Moon to prove themselves, they're good enough for Colin Kaepernick

and, there you have it..

wild part is.. where was all this c00n talk, when Stephen A was saying Kaep was being blackballed, and should be in the league not even 2 months ago.. :dwillhuh:

He said he should be in the league over this last week.

  • He believe Kaep should be in the league
  • He believe Kaep is being black balled
Then why is he spreading misinformation as to how the workout all went down?

I'm not fooled by SAS playing both sides.

what mis-information.. he read the contract NFL sent him, on-air.. :dwillhuh:

if anything.. hes been one of the few people keeping in touch with Kaep, and his girl.. all of a sudden- they just stopped reaching out right before the tryout.. and, havent reached out since..

alot of yall have your feelings so in place.. that facts dont even matter at this point.. :dead:
