How about the posters in here make thought provoking and creative threads and stop bytching? How about the posters make threads on news/articles they come across instead of putting some dumbass agenda or flame bait spin on them?

The Arcadium will be fine once the posters in here get their shyt together. Gamers still like discussing games... everything doesn't have to be fueled by some "PS4 vs XB1" debate. Look at the Destiny Thread for the Alpha, shyt was all about the game, got people interested, and it was active as hell while the Alpha was running.

Stanning/Trolling is cool, but jesus at least be funny/creative with it. Some of yal don't put any effort into the threads you create and wonder why there was even a need for the split.

These consoles now are much more accessible as far as sharing your content/gameplay with, you do something you think is dope, you put somebody on that summerjam screen? How about you share it on here? (just look at how active the BF4 thread has been with countless screenshots and videos dropped in there)

setting up a twitch account is not something i need help with(), it was the logistics of getting a chat room going at the same, figuring out which xenforo chat software would work best for us.

i might be better off taking the easy road and doing what you mentioned but i was @ed to a thread you might have read if you werent too busy stat watching and asked about doing it this way and i went ahead and looked into it

if you really give a fukk about this forum maybe you should try coming up with an interesting thread about your interests and get other members involved with the discussion. you got an entire forum dedicated to gaming, and everyone in here thats complaining is supposed to be a "gamer" yet yall would rather spend your time in here complaining that we have a gaming forum now than improving your own forum with actual gaming discussion

Here's how it really went down, instead of conspiracy theories.

Brooklynzson and I make decisions for the board between ourselves, sometimes we make decisions that aren't popular but we do what we think is best for the board. We certainly take into consideration what people think at the moment but that's not going to be the deciding factor, which was why it was communicated clearly that the vote wasn't official and wasn't going to decide anything. We had discussed splitting the arcadium in the past but Brooklynzson was against it. I was more open to the idea but he has final say on things as he's the owner. When that thread showed up, I had no intention of even mentioning the idea because I knew where he stood but he asked me about it anyways. I laid out a few reasons why I thought it would work and apparently he agreed because he said let's try it out then. At that point, the poll was closed because a decision had been made. Shortly after, we opened the new forum.

Now if you don't believe that then that's on you. There's nothing I could say that will convince you otherwise, which is a shame but oh well, I'm not losing sleep over it.

But if in the end it's because some people are complaining, then let us all decide. That's all I'm saying. I believe it has accomplished a lot. Been the most active thread in this forum the past day let some people get what they think out in the open

not only that your stats are even more misleading. You say film room is a success. That shyt is a FLOP.

Arcadium = 200k page views
Film room = 150k page views (even though it has that new car smell to it still )

how many of that 150k is because of TSC? I would say a good 25-50k

the other problem is that this is prime time for movies/tv shows... What happens when theirs no more blockbuster movies after August to talk about or until the next big series comes out

That shyt gonna dip to 75k views by itself (not counting TSC, but by then TSC, a sub forum, might be doing the same numbers as the main forum )

Theres nothing even coming out right now game wise for the next few months, yet Arcadium, is beating the Film Room, which has EVERYTHING in its favor right now (blockbuster movies, summer time kids are out and one of the biggest shows just had their season finale in game of thrones )

You say forum activity is dropping in the coliseum, well no shyt because theirs nothing really being played right now. NFL and NBA are the draws and both are in off season now. World Cup and a few MLB shyt + off season moves is the only thing to talk about now.

But it should be the opposite for the film room/arcadium. People are out of school and should be discussing games/movies more

well if you posted in the arcadium before the past few months you would understand that the people he nominated hardly even posted here, and that there were around 4-5 poster of the year threads BEFORE he made that one
