Oh, 90% of the time you cannot tell an African from an African American
Not really, admixed Black Americans are definitely distinct.

"the devil planted fear inside of black babies"Cause they made us hate ourselves and love they wealth....
Funny thing is, African Americans know very little about what Africans truly look like. As the most genetically diverse place on earth, Africans come in all shades, shapes and sizes. ALL!!!! The dude who said that might not even have graduated high school or been beyond his own state.
I remember the 'African Booty Scratcher' joke in Boyz N the Hood. Painful to hear coming from Black kids, but very necessary and am proud of John Singleton for putting that in there. It was important for Africans to know that most African Americans aint really feeling them and pretty much wanted nothing to do with them. Oh, 90% of the time you cannot tell an African from an African American, unless youre talking about how obese African Americans are then yeah. Some Africans have very distinct looks that you wont find in American Blacks, but I can assure that somewhere in Africa you'll find an African that resembles any African American. African Americans only for the most part came from the west coast of Africa.

I remember in school when the blacks students with slave names used to make fun out of african names and culture

For real though, I've been realizin how much of a mental jux the black American population has been trained through so many means to hate their own heritage and it's sad as f*ck. Being Nigerian/African/West Indian it saddens me to see this denial of greatness.
I don't know...when I was younger I used to feel someway about it...but the older I get I've just fully appreciated my African roots and background and essence. They're ain't nobody that look like me or us. I feel like I've been blessed or something for real. They hate cause they can't understand and they envy us and they've been told lies about us. I smile in the face of a hater son. Maybe it's cause of my strong family ties and whatnot but I got respect for myself and other black folks across the diaspora and that translates to respect to people for all. I see the reality of how generations of blinders have made us lost but to take them off is to achieve true knowledge and wisdom of humanity for real.
It's is to identify c00ns, they get uneasy anytime you mention anything about Africa. Just say "Africa" and read their body language![]()
