The one where Walt was so overly focused on killing that fly that was in their lab.

I get that it was an attempt to show maybe his OCD with process and being in control, but it just dragged on the entire episode.

Still, one bad episode in a 50+ episode, 1 hr format show is EXCELLENT, unprecedented.

should i just skip this episode? im on it now

The Fly episode was great, the only episode I really didn't like was the one in Season 4 where Marie begins stealing shyt again, and gets in a fight with the real estage agent.

"The Fly" lovers sound like The Wire Season 2 lovers.

I've seen/heard so many people overrate both and it seems like it's done simply because a lot of people hate them.

I don't think either is bad but c'mon now.

The Wire season 2 is the best season? :beli:

The Fly episode is top 5? :beli:

wait, I always thought that fly was metaphor for "bug" as in Gus is watching. If thats not case, that was a waste of an episode.

I knew from the first time I watched "Fly" that it was a favorite episode of mine. I watched the first three seasons through a binge watch, the summer before Season 4 was about to start. I had never discussed BB on forums or read any type of reviews for episodes at the point to avoid any spoilers, so this whole "Only people who like the Fly episode are dudes that just want to seem different" doesn't apply to me. I genuinely thought it was a great episode.

i thought that it was a great episode and departure from the shows usual serious theme. it was funny without sacrificing the characters' natures, and i'm sure there's a breaking bad stan that can link it to something more meaningful than just flyswatting and worrying about contamination.

i always thought it was about walt's developing obsession with gus, but i really have no clue. still enjoyed it.

to me the fly was used as a plot device to foreshadow his cancer coming back. when jesse told the story about his aunt that would even hear things when they werent there after she got sick. walt killed the fly at the end of the episode but a few seconds before it ends walt hears the fly again...
