Normally I'm a pretty empathetic person, but I've started seeing homeless white people in around my way spike.....


And I just can't smh like wtf......

I know I can't be the only one....

but their all on drugs and have been horrible people to the people in their lives. they have volatile tempers and entitlement. ridicolous people, to have run out all your options or have anyone in your life to know you are sleeping on the street means you are garbage.

I don't have sympathy for any homeless person. But life is based on opportunity, not favours. Some take em, some don't.

I feel bad for anybody down on the luck but it’s like this

70% poor life choices(drugs,crime, etc)
15% Severely mentally ill
10% Legitimately fell on hard times(job loss, foreclosure, medical issues )
5% by choice

I do and I don’t I live in Hawaii and we have the largest homeless per capita you can tell the ones with mental illness because they aren’t asking for money they are just wondering the streets the ones asking for money or the ones that are more than able to get up and get a job I see a lot of the same people when I drive to and from work so I know the ones that really have a problem and the ones that hit the streets fake it looking for a handout

Homeless people where I live are not being controlled by our mayor. They can basically fukking camp out at places of business and annoy people. I see the same folks for months in end and it makes me lose empathy for them to be honest.

Some I'll give some change but seriously most of them are probably so psychologically fukked up they can't function in normal society.

I feel for em a lil. I know what its like to be homeless. I sent my kids to my moms and moved into a shelter. I had a bs job at subway. Took my check bought some dope stayed on the blocc all night til I had to go to work, when over my friend house showered n went to work and kept repeating that shyt til I had enuf for a bs apt. Ive learned not to look down my nose at anyone.

I was leavin tha grocery store for a latenight snac & a homeless white man was crossin tha street with his clothes fallin off lookin like he just lost his manhood & thats when I wondered, do yall feel bad for homeless white people?

This was some powerful shyt cuz not 2 years after I posted that I ended up homeless again this time for almost 2 years between couch surfing homeless shelters on the streets sumtimes n bandos until my daddy stepped in and arranged for me to live with my uncles which was rocky n then I was finally blessed 2 get my own apartment again due 2 being an internet junkie lol..on October 26th i will have been here a year n doing pretty good for myself no more threads begging for money or nuthin..n i i appreciate all of ya'll that were there for me during my darkest days it meant alot...i love yall
