I'm seriously considering taking on the task, but i'd like to know if anyone has done it before, or even attempted to? In Theory it seems as if it should be doable, but it seems like an extremely complicated task. For Instance the standard Hybrid car is powered by a regular engine and supported by an electrical motor. The Motor initially takes over when you drive giving you certain number of miles, when the miles are up the car then taps into the gas engine. Which is the beauty of a hybrid. That mileage is alot more manageable. But finding an electrical motor alongside the engine seems to be a tricky fit. I don't know if it can be done without costing too much which will defeat the purpose:ohlawd:

Sounds really hard. Some hybrids just use the gas to generate electricity. And some have really small gas engines to make space.

It's probably not worth the effort if you care about cost. That's one of those pet projects you work on for 8 years and then give up on.
