We're on the blood path now
My favorite Marvin Gaye album.
My favorite Marvin Gaye album.
My bad son
I thought this was a best ever discussion.
Now I'm glad I didn't throw James Brown in the mix too because that woulda been extra blasphemous![]()
@gabbo i was thinkin' more of like 90's r&b, i wouldn't and couldn't dare compare only built to the marvin's "i want you" album. that's blasphemous!![]()
bruh, it's MARVIN GAYE! and 1 of his GREATEST albums
even raekwon would be like
believe that![]()
idgaf who it is
Raekwon released a masterpiece in his own genre, so it is comparable to the best albums of ANY genre
besides Ghost was better at this love game than Marvin...peep Wisdom Body

yeah, but classic and great music is timeless, bruh
you need to go back and check out marvin gaye's "i want you" album
(shyt, all this talkin' bout the album, i'm bout to listen the muthafukka right now)
Heard it bruh I'm a big Marvin fan, especially What's Going On and Let's Get It On (my personal fav)
but I am partial to hip-hop and the Wu and I don't see why we should discriminate between genres. Marvin has like 2 or 3 albums that are the best of his genre, and OB4CL is right up there for hip-hop.
i hear you but that era of r&b/soul music of the 70's can't be topped to me. it's just as high as it gets in terms of excellence
same goes for that 70's era of rock
70's era to me is the goat era of music, so many classics were comin' out
it is the foundation for the hip hop you love such as only built 4 cuban linx with the samples and all
the 70s were the peak of r&b/soul/funk music so I can't argue with you there
just like the 90s was the peak of hip-hop music
our opinions are a product of the times we cherish anyway lol
butnonetheless
true, i agree with all of that
back to cuban linx, i think i'mma ride out with that album today
you bein' a wu fan and all, is that your favorite "wu album" from the wu collective?![]()
